Love and a passion for opera and the works of Richard Wagner are not a question of age. Since 2008, we have been able to offer a separate programme for our Young Friends.
The highlight of the year is of course the visit to Bayreuth: whether working rehearsals, dress rehearsals or performances on the Grüner Hügel and our special events, there are many opportunities to chat to other young Wagner enthusiasts.
In addition, the Young Friends attend various rehearsals and performances of Wagner operas in Germany and Europe, which we normally organise in cooperation with other young opera friends’ organisations.
Youth membership is open to young Wagner enthusiasts up to the age of 35, the annual subscription is 100 euros.
